- A Mountain Lion is also known as puma, cougar, and panther.
- The only wild cat bigger than the mountain lion is the jaguar.
- Mountain lions are skilled climbers, frequently living in trees.
- Full grown Mountain Lions require 8 to 10 pounds of meat per day to survive.
Scout and Franklin are two very curious and playful kittens here at the El Paso Zoo who were separately orphaned and rescued in the wild. They are now brother and sister who have spent their first year growing fond of each other and their new home.
