FIRST ANNUAL
GALA
The El Paso Zoo Society and KTSM invites you to the First Annual Dia de los Muertos Gala at the El Paso Zoo on October 16, 2021! This one-of-a-kind nighttime experience at the Zoo will transform into a sea of color as we celebrate life, past and present. Upon gaining admission, themed food, wine, and specialty cocktail tastings await our guests.
Today, this 3,000-year-old celebration reaches into the United States with a new and evolving way of celebrating continued reverence for death and those who have passed. A Zoo event is not complete without animals. Our Education Specialists will be on hand to teach our guests about many of the animals that are found in our region and the animals that are closely resembled to the long-lasting tradition that are called “alebrijes” or spirit animals.
Admittance to the event is by invitation only. If you would like to be invited, please call (915)212-0245 for more information. This is an after-hours, adults-only event. ALL guests must be 21 or older and must bring a valid ID to the event. No exceptions made for any reason. Please drink responsibly. Last event admission is at 9:30 pm. Food served until samples have run out.
